Hi There! ✨
We’re Ellen + Hannah, the Nashville-based DJ duo behind DJ Girlie Pop - two friends who shared the same long-running dream of becoming DJs and finally decided to make it happen. Part of what pushed us to go for it was recognizing the lack of women behind the decks, and wanting to help change that narrative, one booking at a time.
Our first gig was a company Christmas party, and we had the time of our lives building the night song by song through our cohesive mixes, taking requests from excited attendees, and watching the dance floor come to life. We left that night completely energized by the joy we got to create in the room. That was the moment we realized this wasn’t just a one time side quest, it was the start of a creative venture we knew we needed to follow.
These days, we DJ weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and private parties across Nashville and beyond. We bring eclectic taste, curated pacing, and a crowd-first approach so your event’s auditory experience will feel authentic and curated exactly to you.
